# How do I delete a mortgage or close a mortgage from my account?

> If you accidentally input your mortgage details incorrectly, were just having a play with your Dashly Dashboard or were fortunate enough to pay off your mortgage, and now need to remove that mortgage from your account, all you have to do is follow the simple steps below to remove it from your account:-
> 
> 1. Log in to your Dashly Dashboard
> 2. Click on “Mortgages” at the top of the page
> 3. Select the mortgage that you wish to remove
> 4. Click on “Changed Something?”
> 5. Select “I have repaid this mortgage”
> 6. Input the date that you repaid the mortgage (or just enter today’s date if this isn’t a real mortgage)
> 7. Click on submit
> 
> If you then want to add another mortgage to that property or add another property you own, follow the instructions in <https://help.dashly.com/using-your-dashly-dashboard/how-do-i-add-a-new-mortgage-in-my-dashboard?hsLang=en>[this help article](https://dashly.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/77000316022)
